Each plugin comes with its own guide in the download. They’re here too, so you can read one before you buy.

Every plugin has a setup check

Add ?…=check to the address of the page where a plugin is installed (the guide gives you the exact word) and a panel shows what it found and what to fill in. Visitors never see it unless they type that address themselves.
